Q&A with Tony
Tell us a little about your background…
I’ve spent over 20 years working in sales, business development and marketing, across a range of industries including technology, digital marketing and business services. Throughout my career, I’ve always enjoyed building relationships, understanding what businesses need and finding the right solutions to help them grow. I’m naturally quite entrepreneurial, enjoy meeting new people and thrive on the challenge of developing new opportunities and turning them into long-term business relationships.
What attracted you to DRYFT?
What really attracted me to DRYFT was the innovation behind the products and the opportunity to represent a British manufacturer that is genuinely doing things differently. I was impressed by the technology, the focus on improving cleaning performance and productivity, and the ambition to continue developing new solutions for the industry. It felt like an opportunity to join a business with a great product range, a strong vision and plenty of potential for further growth.
What will your role focus on?
My role focuses on developing DRYFT’s presence across the south of the UK, building relationships with both existing and new customers, and working closely with our distributor network. A big part of what I do is understanding the challenges businesses face, identifying where our products can make a real difference, and arranging demonstrations so customers can see the benefits for themselves. Ultimately, it’s about creating new opportunities, supporting our partners and helping more businesses discover what DRYFT can offer.
What is your approach to partnerships?
For me, successful partnerships are built on trust, communication and a shared commitment to achieving results. I believe it’s important to understand each partner’s business, their goals and the challenges they face, rather than simply focusing on selling a product. By working collaboratively, being approachable and providing ongoing support, you can build relationships that deliver genuine value for everyone involved. I want our partners to see me as someone they can rely on, not just when there’s an opportunity to do business, but throughout the relationship.
What excites you most about joining DRYFT?
I’m excited to be part of a business that is growing, innovating and challenging traditional approaches to cleaning. The opportunity to get out and meet customers, demonstrate the products in real-world environments and show how DRYFT can help businesses work more efficiently is something I’m really looking forward to. I’m also excited about the people, the partnerships we can develop and the opportunity to play a part in growing the brand across the south of the UK. There’s a real sense of potential here, and I’m looking forward to being part of the journey.
