How the DRYFT CO₂ calculator works
The DRYFT CO₂ calculator estimates the annual emissions generated by the energy used to clean your floors. It helps you compare DRYFT with other floor-cleaning equipment using clear, consistent data.
Energy use × annual operating time × emission factor = estimated annual CO₂e
Consumption
Energy use is calculated from each machine’s technical specifications, such as rated electrical powee consumed per hour. DRYFT uses compact digital brushless motors engineered to use less power while delivering powerful cleaning performance
Time in use
Enter the estimated weekly operating hours for each machine. The calculator converts this into annual usage.
Emission factors
The calculator applies recognised emission factors based on the energy source:
Electricity: Country-specific kg CO₂e per kWh data from the International Energy Agency.
These factors are updated annually, typically with a one-year reporting delay, and include emissions associated with producing and using the energy.
Results are estimates based on the information entered, equipment specifications and the latest available emission factors.
